Starting Monday, November 2, the morning Bored Net will be held on the PVARC VCast system. This is a simulcast system covering most of the populated areas of Ventura County, using a single frequency pair (one on 2m, one on 70 cm) no matter what location you are in. Finally, the Bored Net is easily available to the entire County.
In case you don’t have these frequencies programmed, this is a good time to do it. The VCast System is also channel 10 on the ACS/ARES frequency list, both 2m and 440.
2m is 144.895, positive offset, PL of 88.5
70cm is 449.660, minus offset, PL of 88.5
Same times as always, Monday through Saturday at 9:00 am, and again on Saturday night at 9:00 pm. If the VCast system is not available, the nets will be held on the Bozo repeater at 147.885, minus offset, PL 127.3.
As always, we want to thank Steve Leong KC6IJM and Paul Strauss WD6EBY for their continued support for all these years.
